-Dr. Wais has practiced dentistry for 35 years, and he has had extensive
post-graduate training in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, restorative
and prosthetic dentistry, implants, along with diagnosis and treatment
planning (Please look at the Plastic Surgery w/o
Surgery page to see examples).
He worked on a Ph.D. in clinical nutrition. He has worked for the last
three years with Sam Queen, a certified clinical nutritionist and blood
chemist, to achieve results clinically with blood chemistry and nutritional
planning for qualified patients that have not been possible in his dental
practice prior to this time.
-He completed his undergraduate work at Regis College in Denver, CO.,
and finishing with 32 semester hours in biology and physiology
-He graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry with honors.
He is a member of the national dental honor fraternity, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
-He served two years active duty in the U.S. Navy in Virginia Beach, VA
as a dentist.
-Dr. Wais has been a visiting facility member of the L.D. Pankey Institute
which is a post-graduate continuing education facility. He also served
on the Board of Directors of this Institute.
-Dr. Wais graduated from the Misch Implant Institute, and is a Fellow
of this Institute.
-He is a graduate of Orthognathic Bioesthetics International which teaches
a system to revitalize the mouth.
-He is certified in Intravenous Conscious Sedation.
-He is a member of the American Dental Association, the International
Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry
-He has served on the Board of Directors of the Franciscan Renewal Center,
